Switch from Teachable

You make the sale. Teachable takes its cut. Still.

The course is yours. The audience is yours. The work was yours. Somewhere along the way, the platform became a percentage — of your sales, your payouts, your patience. Moving off doesn’t have to risk any of it: we do the move for you. Personally.

You know these moments

  • You did the math on a launch: your price, minus the processor, minus the platform’s cut, minus the payout handling.
  • You waited on a payout schedule you didn’t choose, for money students paid you weeks ago.
  • A student hit a bug. You hit support. Days passed; a template answer arrived; the bug stayed.
  • You scrolled the product updates looking for something — anything — that made your school better this year, and closed the tab.
  • You realized the feeling has a name: you’re not a customer anymore. You’re a revenue line.

Your course, their percentages.

The turn

Teachable earned its place once. It made “sell your course online” a weekend project instead of a development quote, and you built something real on it. Choosing it wasn’t naive — it was efficient.

But platforms drift, and you’ve felt this one drift away from you: fees that multiplied, momentum that didn’t. And what keeps you there isn’t loyalty — it’s the dread of the move. Live students, active sales, years of content: nobody risks that for a marginally better deal.

So we removed the “you” from the move. The Founding Migration is the people who built Flueed carrying your school across — while it keeps selling.

The other side

What changes on ground you own:

  • Your money path gets clean. Sell through the commerce tools you choose — your checkout, your payout terms, no platform percentage standing between you and your students.
  • Your courses become a system. Content rebuilt as modular Steps and flexible Paths — reusable across products, updated once, current everywhere. The catalog compounds instead of accreting.
  • You see what students actually do. Where they slow down, what they revisit, where they stop — real behavior you can act on, not sales stats with a completion column.
  • Your school feels like yours. Your brand, your pages, your look — the tool disappears behind your name. And it’s all inspectable and exportable, on open web infrastructure, so no platform can drift you into a corner again.

How the whole system works: How Flueed works →

The Founding Migration

A done-for-you move, led by the people who built the destination.

  • Your courses, rebuilt properly. Restructured into Steps and Paths with a light redesign included — most catalogs come out sharper and more finishable than they went in.
  • Your students come with you. Accounts carried over. Progress and purchase history assessed for your specific school in your Migration Map — we’ll put what Teachable’s exports allow for your data in writing before anything moves.
  • Sales never stop. Your school stays live and selling through the entire build. Cutover is planned around your launches and enrollment dates — and happens only on your sign-off.
  • Your money path, mapped. The Map includes the after-picture of checkout and payments with the tools you choose — planned so there’s no gap week between systems.
  • You become a founding member — founding pricing on Flueed itself, roadmap voice, direct line to the founder.

Why we do this ourselves

Fair question, given where you’re coming from: why would this platform treat you differently?

Structural answer: your migration is worth more to us than the fee. Every move from Teachable teaches us what exports withhold, what students notice, what a working school can’t afford to have wrong — and that knowledge builds Flueed. So the founder does the work personally, over-carefully, and generously. And the drift-proofing isn’t a promise, it’s architecture: your content and data stay exportable by principle, so if we ever stop deserving you, leaving us is easier than leaving them. We think that keeps us honest in a way pricing pages don’t.

How it works

  1. You send the enquiry — two minutes, includes your school’s URL.
  2. We review your school first. Catalog, structure, sales setup — before we ever talk.
  3. The call. What we saw, what we can’t see, fit-check both ways. If staying is the honest answer, you’ll hear it from us.
  4. Your Migration Map. The written plan for your school: what moves, what improves, what your money path looks like after, what it takes. Yours to keep either way.
  5. We build while your school sells. You review, we adjust — the switch happens on your signature.

What could go wrong

The fears, named:

  • “My sales get interrupted.” Nothing switches off until you approve. Cutover is sequenced around launches and enrollments — the two systems overlap; your revenue doesn’t gap.
  • “I lose students or their records.” Accounts move. What history carries is documented for your school before you commit — decisions with facts, not hope.
  • “Payments will be a mess.” The money path is a standard section of the Map: checkout, payouts, and taxes with the tools you choose, planned before the move, not improvised after.
  • “Every platform drifts eventually.” Maybe. Which is why your exit from us stays permanently open — exportable content and data, by principle. We’re the only platform on your shortlist making leaving easy on purpose.

The founding window

This service exists because Flueed is young.

Migrations are done by the founder, a few at a time, with the care that implies — which is exactly why it can’t scale and won’t survive Flueed opening wide, at least not in this form. Not a countdown, not “spots left” — arithmetic, shared while it’s still true.

Questions you’re probably asking

What happens to my checkout and payment setup?

You choose your commerce tools; the Map plans the transition so there’s no gap between systems and no week where students can’t buy.

My students are mid-course.

Parallel build; cutover planned around cohorts. Nobody gets logged out mid-lesson, and access carries through the switch.

My SEO?

On a custom domain, a redirect map is part of the migration. On a .teachable.com address, we’ll tell you plainly what carries — those URLs were never yours to keep anyway.

What does it cost?

Scoped at the review, based on your school’s size and shape. No surprises, no obligation — and if the honest answer is “stay,” that’s what you’ll hear.

How long?

Scoped in your Map. Your school keeps selling throughout, so there’s no deadline pressure — the new home ships when it’s provably ready.

What do I have to do?

Access, opinions, sign-off. That’s the whole job description.

Two minutes now. A clean money path after.

Send your school. We’ll review it personally, then talk honestly about whether — and exactly how — to move it.

Placeholder — migration enquiry form, no form plugin chosen yet

Replace this callout with the migration enquiry form (not the waitlist). Field spec from the page doc: name · email · site URL (required — so we can review it before we talk) · platform (prefilled: Teachable) · roughly how big (optional) · what’s pushing you to move (optional).

P.S. The review and Migration Map cost nothing and are yours to keep. Worst case: an expert written assessment of your school and an honest “stay put.” Usual case: the last launch where you calculate what the platform kept.
