Switch from LifterLMS
Five years in, you’re still assembling your LMS.
The free core was real. So is the add-on lattice it grew into: every capability another module, another renewal, another update in the queue. There’s a way to a system that arrives whole — and you don’t have to carry anything there yourself. We do it. Personally.
You know these moments
- You needed one capability. The pricing page mapped it to a bundle. The bundle renewal now sits in your calendar like a small property tax.
- Your plugins screen is a genealogy of decisions: the core, the add-ons, the add-ons’ dependencies — each one a thing that can need updating on a Tuesday.
- You showed a colleague the learner side, and caught yourself saying “it looks a bit dated, but it works.”
- Something broke after an update, and the first question wasn’t what happened — it was which of the twelve pieces did it.
- You realized the “free LMS” line item in your head has quietly become one of your bigger software costs — spread thin enough that you never had to admit it.
The turn
LifterLMS wasn’t a bad call — it was one of the more honest ones. Free core, modular pricing, your server, your data: you paid for exactly what you used, and the architecture respected you.
But modularity you must assemble has a compounding cost the pricing page never shows: every module is another seam, every seam is another thing to update, test, and debug — and the whole is never quite done. Somewhere along the way, running the assembly became part of your job description.
You haven’t moved because the assembly works, and years of configuration feel unrepeatable. They don’t need repeating. The Founding Migration is the people who built Flueed carrying your site across — configuration understood, learners intact, while everything keeps running.
The other side
What changes when the system arrives whole:
- No lattice. Delivery, structure, tracking, and access are one system — not a bundle tier. Capabilities don’t arrive as plugins; they arrive as the product.
- A learner experience you stop apologizing for. Clean, focused, resumable, progress-aware — inheriting your brand, on your pages.
- Structure that bends. Courses rebuilt as modular Steps composed into Paths — reused across programs, updated once, current everywhere.
- You keep the openness, lose the job. Content and learner data inspectable and exportable, on the same open foundation you chose — with the operating handed off. The update queue stops being yours.

The Founding Migration
A done-for-you move, led by the people who built the destination.
- Your courses, rebuilt properly. Restructured into Steps and Paths with a light redesign included — years of accreted structure come out smaller and sharper.
- Your learners come with you. Accounts carried over. Progress, quiz, and engagement history assessed for your specific site in your Migration Map — LifterLMS’s data lives in WordPress, which makes this one of the gentler moves on this list; what carries goes in writing before anything moves.
- Your site stays live the whole time. Parallel build; enrollments and sales continue; nothing switches off until you sign off.
- Your configuration is understood, not just copied. The Map reads your add-on lattice — memberships, engagements, certificates, commerce — and says what each piece becomes, item by item.
- You become a founding member — founding pricing on Flueed itself, roadmap voice, direct line to the founder.
Why we do this ourselves
Because your migration is worth more to us than the fee.
Every move from an assembled stack teaches us what years of real configuration actually contain — what mattered, what was scar tissue, what the exports miss. That knowledge builds Flueed. So the founder does the work personally, over-carefully, with you steering — not a vendor for whom your lattice is billable confusion, but the people whose product improves by understanding it.
How it works
- You send the enquiry — two minutes, includes your site URL.
- We review your site first. Courses, add-on lattice, commerce setup — before we ever talk.
- The call. What we saw, what we can’t see, fit-check both ways. If the assembly genuinely serves you, we’ll say “stay” — and mean it.
- Your Migration Map. The written plan: what each piece becomes, what improves, what carries, what it takes. Yours to keep either way.
- We build alongside your live site. You review and steer; the switch happens on your sign-off.
What could go wrong
The fears, named:
- “Years of configuration, gone.” Not copied blindly — read: the Map accounts for each add-on’s job and what takes it over. Configuration is the thing we study hardest.
- “I lose learner records.” Accounts move; history is mapped in writing for your data before you commit. WordPress storage is on your side here.
- “My memberships and checkout break.” You keep selling your way — the commerce and access transition is a standard Map section, planned so nothing gaps.
- “I’m just re-buying my add-ons under a new name.” No lattice on the other side — the system is the system. And your exit stays open by principle: everything exportable, always.
The founding window
This service exists because Flueed is young.
Migrations are done by the founder, a few at a time, with the care that implies — which is exactly why it can’t scale and won’t last in this form. When Flueed opens wide, founder-led migration retires. Not a countdown; arithmetic — worth knowing while it’s true.
Questions you’re probably asking
My engagements, certificates, achievements?
Mapped explicitly: what has an equivalent, what has a better answer, what’s honestly a gap today — named at the call, not discovered after.
My membership levels and access rules?
A standard Map section: who can reach what, reconstructed deliberately rather than approximated.
My SEO?
Your own domain — a redirect map is part of the migration.
What does it cost?
Scoped at the review, based on your site’s size and lattice. No surprises, no obligation — and “stay” is an answer we actually give.
How long?
Scoped in your Map; your site stays live throughout, so the new home ships when it’s provably ready.
What do I have to do?
Access, opinions, sign-off — with you steering. The assembly work, for once, is not yours.
Two minutes now. A system that arrives whole after.
Send your site. We’ll review it personally — lattice and all — then talk honestly about whether and how to move it.
Placeholder — migration enquiry form, no form plugin chosen yet
Replace this callout with the migration enquiry form (not the waitlist). Field spec from the page doc: name · email · site URL (required — so we can review it before we talk) · platform (prefilled: LifterLMS) · roughly how big (optional) · what’s pushing you to move (optional).
P.S. The review and Migration Map cost nothing and are yours to keep. Worst case: a written, expert reading of your assembled stack and an honest “stay.” Usual case: the last renewal season with a bundle in it.
